"Right ........ That's as far as I want to go!" Our cherished pets may not always 'enjoy' a trip to the VET but a good relationship with your VET goes a long way to peace of mind for you and your furry, feathery or scaley loved ones. Here are links to Veterinary Practices in South East London. Service Dogs Help Carry The Olympic Torch and Spirit As reported on scruff macduff: The Olympic games are always a wonderful time to see the world coming together. This year’s Olympics will be even more Fit As Fido as the Olympic torch will be accompanied along part of its journey by two amazing service dogs and their owners. Wendy Morrell and Udo and their good friends Karen Ruddlesden and Coco got their chance July 13th to help move the torch to start the games. Wendy and Karen are also using this opportunity to help spotlight a couple of important service dog charities in the UK: - Dogs for the Disabled - Medical Detection Dogs As reported on the Assistance Dogs (UK Website): Assistance Dogs will be welcome at all Olympic Games venues. The information below will help you to ensure you and your assistance dog enjoy your visit to the Olympics. Assistance Dogs (UK) is very grateful to assistance dog partner Wendy Morrell for compiling much of this information. Wendy has been working with LOCOG since 2007 to ensure that the needs of assistance dog owners are met at all 2012 Olympic venues. Assistance Dogs (UK) has been assured by the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games that there will be an assistance dog relief area at every Olympic venue. The information provided aims to help you make the most of your visit to the Olympic Games. This information may be subject to change and AD (UK) takes no responsibility for this. Please return to the Assistance Dogs (UK) website regularly for the full article and for the latest information. I've only been looking after Tom for a short while but I've got to admit I'm completely smitten! At 10 weeks he's already responding to: sit, stay, come, paw & leave. I'm now introducing him slowly to his collar and lead helping Tom and his owner to get ready for their adventures out in the big world :) You can't help but love Tom! Maria x I'm 'delighted' to have beautiful Jasmine as one of my furry customers until she's able to join her family for a sunny new life in Australia. The short video above shows how happy we both are with each other after our first ever walkies together. "Welcome Jasmine" - we'll have some great walks on Blackheath :) Great info that you can print out and post in your house that may help you save your dog one day! Information source: thedogfiles.com Welcome to my 'Dog Blog' - I'm going to enjoy gathering a weekly digest of the latest dog news in the press. Sometimes serious, sometimes funny - Enjoy fellow dog-lovers :)
